EVE VALKYRIEREVIVAL PROJECT

FLIGHT OPERATIONS / SETUP GUIDE

READY FOR
YOUR FIRST FLIGHT?

From pilot account to cockpit. You’ll need your existing PC game files and the community launcher.

01 / YOUR PILOT

CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT.

Open the account page and choose Create account. Set a username, public callsign and password. This is your community account; it is separate from your Steam account.

Save the recovery code somewhere private. It is shown only once and lets you reset your password without knowing the old one. Do not post it in Discord or include it in screenshots.

Account & recovery →
02 / YOUR LAUNCHER

DOWNLOAD. SAVE. OPEN.

Download the launcher → and save it in a writable folder, such as a new Valkyrie Revival folder under Documents. Open ValkyrieRevival.exe to begin.

Open the launcher. If Windows asks for a runtime, install Microsoft .NET 10 Desktop Runtime ↗, choosing Windows x64, then reopen the launcher.

When the launcher offers an update, use its Update button. Keep the launcher in its writable folder.

03 / YOUR INSTALLATION

POINT IT AT THE GAME.

Start Steam. In the revival launcher, use Browse beside Game location to select the installed EVE Valkyrie folder.

A common Steam installation path is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EVE Valkyrie - Warzone

Your Steam library may be on another drive. Choose the game’s installation folder, not the folder where you saved the launcher. The launcher does not download or include the game.

04 / YOUR FIRST FLIGHT

CHOOSE YOUR COCKPIT.

DESKTOP

Choose Desktop in the launcher to play on your monitor.

STEAMVR

Connect your headset and start SteamVR first, then choose SteamVR in the launcher. Quest 3 through Virtual Desktop and SteamVR has been tested with this revival.

Enter your community username and password, then press Play. Play signs you in and starts the game in one step. Keep Steam running.

Remember me is optional. Saved credentials use Windows Credential Manager. Close the game before switching pilot accounts.

Once your tester access is arranged, choose matchmaking in game. After a completed match, you can check your saved stats on your pilot record →.

FLIGHT SUPPORT

NEED A HAND?

The launcher asks me to install .NET.

Install .NET 10 Desktop Runtime for Windows x64 from the Microsoft link above, then open the launcher again. Choose the Desktop Runtime download rather than ASP.NET.

Login failed.

Use your community username, not your public callsign or Steam login. Try signing in on the account page. If you have forgotten the password, select Recover and use your saved recovery code to choose a new password.

I can sign in, but can’t join a battle.

Confirm your test access with the project team. Note the exact error and the time it happened so we can check the server logs. Never send your password or recovery code.

The game closes or I selected the wrong folder.

Check that Steam is running and Browse points at the installed game folder. Try Desktop mode to check basic startup. If it still closes, report the error, launch mode and time to the project team.

The game doesn’t appear in my headset.

Close the game, connect the headset, and confirm SteamVR can see it. Reopen the launcher, select SteamVR and press Play. For Virtual Desktop, establish your PC connection before launching.

Windows or antivirus blocks the download.

Do not disable your security software. Check that you downloaded the file linked on our download page and report the exact warning and launcher version to the project team so it can be investigated.

My website stats haven’t changed.

Wait for the match to finish and its results to upload, then refresh your pilot record. The website displays saved progress only. Public leaderboard results may take up to 30 seconds to refresh.
